I came to the Blue Chip super Self Managed Super Service after a particularly nasty experience with a financial planner from a large well established firm that cost me in the order of 30 to 40 thousand dollars. My self managed fund was a mess and it took a lot of work and time just to sort out what I actually owned in shares so that they could be liquidated. During this lengthy period Troy was always available and extremely helpful. Once my affairs were sorted and I was settled I found my “new” fund to be a breath of fresh air. I get advice as needed and I get regular updates as well as economic trends and information in monthly blurbs. I am not harassed to participate in crazy schemes like with my previous service and the advice I now get is sound and structured. I just wish that I had found them many years earlier as I would be significantly wealthier and far less stressed.

In 2013 we each started with $65000 in super after both working for 20 years. The investment property purchased has gone up so much and we did calculations last week taking into account the mortgage etc.

In 2017 we now have $180000 each based on price of property value, deducting mortgage etc.

So our super has increased by $110000 each in 4 years. This will continue to rise over the years. We are so pleased with the decision to set up SMSF.
